When the weather turns cold...make comforting foods!
Black bean chipotle chili is one of my all time favorites. When this came in the mail in 2002, I had to try it. It is one of those recipes that you have the stuff sitting in your pantry beconing you to make it. I like to use fire roasted tomatoes, it adds to the smokey flavor. I will make this for dinner tonight. It is low fat, and really inexpensive and just plain delicious! This is one of my sister and daughter's favorite recipes. It is cold and rainy and a perfect day for chili & hot apple crisp for desert with vanilla bean ice cream.
